Day 62 of Insanity was the Max Cardio Conditioning workout with Cardio Abs right after. It ended up being a smooth workout and I felt absolutely awesome by the time I was done. I did not go to the YMCA for this particular workout because the gym was closed (yeah huge WTF)… Anyways, I ended up going to visit my brother at my parents’ house and used their basement to finish up this last Insanity workout (no excuses).
In comparison to Day 58 Insanity Max Cardio Conditioning, I think that I did better today than I did then. Since I knew most of the exercises, listening to Shaun T explain some of the exercises (for a few seconds) was the perfect time for me to get a sip or two of water (between moves).
Day 62 of Insanity: Max Cardio Conditioning + Cardio Abs (Last Insanity workout)
It feels awesome to be pretty much done with Insanity…
This was my last Max Cardio Conditioning workout, and I felt awesome knowing that I am pretty much done with this program. I think that the toughest move for me today was doing Ski Abs – my shoulders were on fire, I was out of breath, and I ended up collapsing a few times, but still pushed myself to the max by digging deeper. Additionally, doing the suicide jumps was pretty darn tough and doing plank punches is always tough. With that said, I was very satisfied with how I handled this entire workout. I knew that once I finished the Cardio Conditioning, the Cardio Abs wouldn’t be nearly as tough.
Cardio Abs to get 6 Pack Abs
I think that doing Cardio Abs is awesome for helping keep your mid section toned and feeling tight. Although no sit ups are done, it tires me out every single time and really pushed me to the max for some of the moves. I like how Shaun T starts out really intense with some cardio exercises (e.g. running in place with high arms and high knees), and then switches it up by the end to various types of high and low plank oblique exercises.
Just one more day of Insanity!
I only have one more day of Insanity after today, and it’s not really an actual “workout” per se. All that I have to do is the “Fit Test” and then record my results and take some “after pictures” so that I can get a free Insanity T-Shirt. I want to be ready to kick some major ass with that final fit test because I want to beat my results from the 4th Fit Test. Anyways, time to enjoy some college football games and the rest of this nice day; ‘nuff said.
