Mr. Javo - Glad you liked the analysis. He definitely had to have worked hard at the beginning to make his blog take off. It did help though, that he was a pioneer in the make money online blog industry! Thanks for sharing your comments ;)

Nice analysis Andrew. Certainly, John Chow is a very efficient blogger, his blog is fun for reading. But everything has a price, I suppose that he should worked very hard at the beginning to achieve this success with his blog

Hey Bryan, I'm glad you liked the post and considered my blog a "breath of fresh air" ;) Chow does have a lot of ads, but it really isn't stopping the crowd from returning -- his RSS #'s keep increasing! Articles in Entrepreneur will never hurt to help get more exposure.

Thanks for stopping by Bryan, I look forward to having you around the community ;)

Andrew, I just discovered your blog today and immediately bloglined it. (Is bloglined even a word?)

This post about John Chow was excellent. I've just started in blogging myself (my site is only a few days old) and have been looking for good quality blogs that have good content and look to be sincere. I'm sick of seeing the "make money now" blogs. Yours is a breath of fresh air. Thanks. Looking forward to more.

I've watched John Chow's site for a few weeks now and have to agree with Jason on the ads. I do think there's too many (I've never been keen on lots of ads) but like you both said-it's working for him. The article on him in the last issue of Entrepreneur didn't hurt either.

Hey Jason, I'm glad you are enjoying the series! He does write a lot of paid posts and slaps up a lot of ads, but it seems to be working out well for him and his reader #'s keep growing. Most people in his position would probably do the exact same as him and still be looking for more $-making opportunities.

Nice little Paris Hilton analogy ;) Chow's definitely working a good system and his earnings and RSS #'s keep increasing because of it. Always nice to have you stop by Jason! Hopefully this series never ends ;)
