1300071_27663873.jpgIt’s been an awesome week here at AndrewPavelski.com and in case you missed out and didn’t get a chance to check out all of my high-quality content, this little weekly wrap up will allow you to easily catch up on posts that you may have missed out on! This week started off great with my in-depth analysis of the successful blog: “John Cow dot com”. I discussed the factors that have contributed to his success and things you can learn from John’s business model. Be on the lookout for another great blog analysis coming up this week in my “successful blogs” series!

Later in the week, I let my readers know about the “Insane Internet Marketing Contest” that Gyutae Park from WinningTheWeb is putting on! The total prize value of the contest is approaching $10,000 dollars. Definitely not something you’d want to miss out on! If you haven’t already checked out my article about the contest or registered for Gyutae’s contest, both are highly recommended!

Next, I covered what you should do to maximize your success with the social networking program “StumbleUpon.” I really packed this article with ton’s of information and rightfully entitled it: “The Expert’s Guide To StumbleUpon Success.” Whether you are using StumbleUpon or not, this article will be a great read and help you become more aware of how to get your website some phenomenal exposure through this easy-to-use program. By the way, if you are an active “stumbler” feel free to give any of my posts some “stumble love” by clicking the “thumbs up” on your StumbleUpon toolbar! I definitely appreciate any extra exposure ;)

Have you been aware of all the great contests going on throughout the blogosphere? If you aren’t you will be extremely shocked and very happy to find out! There are 3 contests that I’ve been following, which include: The University Kid’s, WinningTheWeb’s, and FeedFlare’s. Each of the 3 have prizes valued at over $3,000 dollars. You really owe it to yourself to at least give these a look. I am participating in all three and mentioned that I have a personal preference for Gyutae’s because I’ve been an active member at his blog for awhile. I analyzed all 3 contests for my readers, discussed why anyone would want to sponsor a prize, gave a re-cap of their prize listings, and took a look at what type of promotional methods they’ve been using to increase exposure.

Ever think about being an online entrepreneur? Whether you have or haven’t, I discussed “10 Reasons Why You Should Want To Make Money Online” that I highly recommend reading through. There are definitely great perks that are associated with being an online entrepreneur. I kept it simple for you all and created a nice list that included what I consider to be the ten most important reasons! Read this baby through and share some comments if you haven’t yet!
I capped off Week 5 with a great list that included “10 Reasons Why People Don’t Make Money Online.” This list is a great read for everyone hoping to make money online. It will provide you with great tips as what “not to do” with your blog if you have hopes of earning money through your online efforts!

Other honorable blogging posts:

  • Jason Boom ran his 2nd Boombox podcast which was exploding with some great blogging tips. Be sure to stop by his blog and have a listen!
  • The Blog Entrepreneur wrote a great article about why John Chow is bad for blogging. It was a great, refreshing article to read. I recommend that you check it out so you can understand that making money online is far more difficult than John makes it look.
  • Gyutae Park’s contest has grown and my guess is that it’ll reach $10,000 dollars worth of prizes. It is truly insane…and Shoemoney just added an iPod touch to the prize list!
  • Bryan, one of our most active members this week, has redesigned his T-shirt website and it looks great!

This ends week #5 of the Weekly Milestones section. I recommend checking out all of my articles and providing your brain with as much blogging knowledge as possible to help yourself improve! Want to get mentioned in a future weekly wrap-up? Becoming an active member of Andrew Pavelski dot com will increase your chances ;) When you become a regular contributor to the comments section, I will dig through your blog and possibly share link-love with a post that I enjoyed! Especially if it is relevant to my niche!
