I have some prime-time news for all my readers out there! An interesting new way to make some serious cash has recently been brought to my attention! Beginning February 1, 2008, the release of “Pay-Per-Play Advertisements” are set to take the internet by storm. I personally believe that they have the ability to revolutionize internet advertising. Unlike the traditional AdSense ads where money is made only when an ad is clicked, the Pay-Per-Play audio ads will make you money each time your website is visited! This is a great opportunity to earn money off of total site traffic alone. Pay-Per-Play Ads are compatible with AdSense and site owners are paid each play, which involves no clicking or opening of a new page.

What exactly are Pay-Per-Play ads?

Pay-Per-Play ads are 5 second contextual audio (voice) ads that play as soon as a web page is loaded. For each 5 second automatic playing of the advertisement, the website owner gets paid! There are currently “over 12,000 registered members” who have brought forth “more than 8 million websites” to the Pay-Per-Play community in less than 2 months! According to the company website, “PPP is a rare opportunity to lock in major residual flows of income for the web’s newest and fastest growing advertising vehicle…Pay-Per-Play.” The company is looking for as many website sign-ups as possible before February 1, 2008 in order to be able to demand top-dollar from advertisers.

How Do I Feel About Pay-Per-Play?

I think that it will be an effective way for websites to generate more money. Everyone without computer speakers or computer speakers turned off will be unaffected by the advertisements, yet websites will still be able to generate money because the ads will still play. These people won’t even notice the audio ads on websites, which is a good thing; less annoyance to visitors. And even the people that hear the advertisements shouldn’t be that annoyed, it’s only a 5 second vocal ad!

Sign Up & Code Installation:

Sign-up for Pay-Per-Play was very easy. I read over the terms and conditions and filled out the sign-up form. They promptly sent an e-mail, I verified my account, and was ready to go! Next, I read more about these ads and that I must install the Pay-Per-Play code into my site’s template before recruiting any new members through the PPP affiliate program. Embedding the PPP code into my website couldn’t get much simpler. A quick copy and paste above the last body tag (”</body>“) in my theme’s footer and I was done. Once the code was installed into my template, I was officially eligible to begin earning money through Pay-Per-Play referrals. Assuming there are no company setbacks, come February 1, 2008 you will be able to begin earning money via the PPP ads too!

My Final Thoughts About Pay-Per-Play:

I wouldn’t be too quick to judge something new without giving it a try or at least reading up on it. The potential payout opportunity is huge! You could possibly miss out on a great opportunity if you don’t take advantage! I will let the market determine the effectiveness of Pay-Per Play ads and then write a re-evaluation. Since Pay-Per Play ads haven’t had a lot of promotion & have literally “snuck under the radar” of many bloggers and site owners, many top internet marketers may not have even heard of them yet! I figure since $10 Million Dollars is the goal for www.AndrewPavelski.com, why not potentially jump-start my profits with some Pay-Per-Play Advertising?
