After reading other blogs, I came to the conclusion that I haven’t been on the grind enough. There’s been a severe lack of promotion and writing blog posts. Yes, I have been very busy, but you know what they say about excuses…(or maybe you don’t)… Either way, I certainly feel like a man on a mission. Not only do I feel like a man on a mission, I know I’m a man on a mission. As a blogger, I need a way to constantly stay motivated and constantly keep myself productive. My strategy to stay motivated and productive with my blogging career is simple: Blog Or Die! Re-read that, think about it, let it sync inBLOG OR DIE! For everybody out there that wants to make money online, you need to find ways to consistently stay motivated or the money-making will not happen, period! Initially, getting everything set up through Wordpress with the installing of plugins and Ad-Sense will get a new blogger pumped up and “motivated” about his new blogging expedition.

After about a month, the new blogger will either:

  • Collapse - Fail to update the blog and fail to attract visitors. A collapse shows that blogging wasn’t meant to be OR the necessary effort just wasn’t put forth.
  • Significantly slow his / her progression rate - This is a sign that the blogger will find out that blogging just “wasn’t meant to be” later down the road.
  • OR stay motivated - The bloggers that stay motivated will have great blogs and will continually keep attracting more visitors as time passes.

I have made a commitment to myself that I will stay motivated and turn this site into a successful business. Underneath all successful money-making bloggers lies the determination to learn, and ability to show persistence with blog content and website improvements! Newsflash: If blogging just isn’t something you’re passionate about and you are sitting around “blogging” your life away, chances are good that you will not truly become a successful blogger. That little lesson doesn’t only apply to blogging, but everything in L-I-F-E!

Sure blogging may come easier to others, but you will make it work if you are determined enough. If you are not “in it to win it,” you will not become a success story. Sure not all blogs are geared to make money online and some have no intention to make any money, but in the long-term your amount of passion, persistence, and determination will show. If the goal of your blog is to make money, you sure as hell better be doing something towards making money instead of writing a few posts and praying to the lord that google searches will get visitors to your website. If the goal of your blog is to be successful, you need to take the necessary steps to make your blog successful. (I will let you in on a little secret and tell you that you are on the right track by reading this blog).

This article may serve as a nice wake-up call to all bloggers out there sleeping on their true dreams. So ask yourself the short, powerful question: BLOG OR DIE? If you chose blog, good for you…start working on your blog before it dies!
