This week has been packed full of great blogging contests that give bloggers a chance to win many awesome prizes! If you haven’t yet found a good contest, you’ve been missing out! Contests are a great way to boost a website’s overall traffic and increase the current amount of RSS subscribers. Not only can contests spread virally across the net, t Though contests may cost you some money, chances are good that they significantly cover up your initial debt from paying for a contest.

In case you haven’t been up-to-date with the latest blogging contests, I’ve compiled a great list of current contests that I recommend checking out:

• Jason Boom — I was definitely glad to win a free 125 x 125 advertisement [for 1 month] from Jason Boom’s most recent contest! His contest was definitely a great way to boost his RSS subscriber numbers, get more traffic to his website, and help more people discover his site. Jason has had so much success with his last contest that he’s decided to have another one this week! I would like to give a shout out (or light a bomb…) to Jason Boom for choosing AndrewPavelski.Com as the winner! His site is very unique, has a good theme, and I like what he’s doing with it. If you haven’t yet checked out his website contest, get over there and hook yourself up with a chance to win some great, quality prizes.

• Perfect Blogging - “Perfect Blogging dot com” is having a contest to celebrate his birthday and share some love with his subscribers. $1,000 dollars cash will be split evenly among 20 lucky winners. If you haven’t yet seen this contest on the perfect blogging website or John Chow’s website, check it out and try to win yourself $50 dollars of cash-money! I’ve already signed up and I highly recommend you check out this contest if you’d like a great shot at winning free money.

• The Rating Blog - Alan Johnson over at “The Rating Blog” is currently running a $1,000 dollar contest. 1st Place in the contest will receive $500 dollars via PayPal — which is definitely an impressive first place prize for a blogging contest! Other prizes include: 2nd Place = promotional Bidvertizer account w/ $200 in free clicks, 3rd Place = $100 Amex card, 4th-5th-6th Places = free web hosting from LunarPages for 1 year (~$95 dollar value).
