Posted by Andrew as Monthly Traffic Report
After a short, yet hardcore bout of the flu virus, I’m thankfully back to the blog! “AndrewPavelski dot com” is officially 1 month old as of today! I have definitely learned a lot in January and have enjoyed every minute of my blogging and online experience thus far. I have recently decided to write a monthly report on both AndrewPavelski.Com’s: monthly traffic & monthly earnings. This post is exclusively reporting my January 2008 website traffic. After reading a blog article on Bud Calabrese’s site about his first month’s traffic, I was inspired by the idea of posting my monthly traffic. It is also nice to compare my traffic to Bud’s traffic because January 2008 was AndrewPavelski.Com’s first month on the web as well! I have done many things to boost my website traffic and it definitely showed!
AndrewPavelski.Com’s traffic results:
In Comparison:
Bud was able to get Gyutae Park’s pageviews for his first month w/ the site WinningTheWeb.Com.
WinningTheWeb’s First Month:
BudCalabrese.Com’s First Month:
ANDREWPAVELSKI.COM’S FIRST MONTH:
Analysis: Bud had me outnumbered in both “total visits” and “total pageviews” for month numero uno. I was by no means ‘far from the lead’ — I was actually very close. I also did not start my blog exactly on January 1st — which could mean a couple of days less traffic for this month. Both Bud and I had significantly outnumbered WinningTheWeb’s first month on the web. It was fun for me to compare my numbers to Bud’s and WinningTheWeb’s. If Bud doesn’t mind, I may choose to compare with his website more in the future because he launched his website at approximately the same time I did. Comparing numbers with WinningTheWeb, a well established site, suggests that I am off to a great start and gives me a motivational jolt!
Conclusion: I think that if I keep up the good work and keep making traffic progress, good things will naturally happen. I feel that I’m definitely off to a great start with traffic @ AndrewPavelski.Com! But by no means is my traffic work done! Keep following the progress and I’ll be sure to keep you posted! Until next month…

4Andrew, I have become a big fan of the site and even used the theme like yours. A real inspiration.
I am moving my old blog to the new site slowly and wanted to know how you made a HOME button along the top of your site.
Keep up the great work and I am hoping to have some success like you one day.

5An impressive start. I will follow your progress with interest. Just for comparison your first month total is about what I have had in my first two years.

6@ cuzzy — It’s great to have your support! I don’t currently have a “home” button / tab on my website. My “blog” tab does, however, link to the homepage of this site. You can do that by logging in to WP>>options>>reading>>front page displays…then selected “a static page” and then set both categories to “home.” Let me know how this works out!
@ beautyscientist — I definitely appreciate your comments and look forward to having you around the community!
