Want to create a free customized WordPress blog header? Using the website, CoolText.com, will allow you to create customized headers in a flash. Creating a customized header enhances the appearance of your blog and can help you “brand” your website. I always wondered how to create a free header, and using CoolText has allowed me to quickly and easily create a free WordPress header.
Why should you check out CoolText?
Below are examples of the types of images you can create by using CoolText:
You can also use Header-Art for free WordPress blog headers
Another place that you can get a free WordPress blog header is: www.Header-Art.com. They provide some pretty nice looking header images that are very easy to work with. Just pick an image size that fits your blog header, follow the download instructions, upload the image to your header, and your done! It is relatively simple to use. You can also pay $10 dollars to customize an image, which is relatively cheap. When customizing an image you can use different colors, sizes, pictures, and themes to get the image looking exactly how you’d like.
Below are some examples from the website:
The nice features about using this website is that all of the header images are already created. All you need to do is really download the photo, and upload it to your WordPress header!
After you’ve successfully created your free WordPress blog headers, simply upload your blog image to your header.php and you’re good to go!
For more information on uploading and designing headers, check out this information-packed WordPress guide. This guide will tell you how to change the header in a WordPress blog. The directions should be relatively easy to follow and should get you on the right track if you are a little confused!
Would you like your header image to rotate between different images?
Check out the plugin: “Header Image Rotator,” I think you’ll be satisfied! This plugin is pretty self-explanatory. Follow the installation instructions and you’ve got “rotating images” in your WordPress header.
Create your own image
Best of luck to all those hoping to create a good customized image for their WordPress blogs. The sites that I mentioned within this article should definitely help get you on the right track! 1I have been thinking of spicing mine up, I love the idea of the rotating images but as you probably agree the simpleredtheme is not the best for it.
I enjoy checking this blog daily.

2Rotating images is definitely a cool idea for a header, though I agree, the Simple Red WP theme can be difficult to work with… I’m glad you enjoy checking this blog daily — it’s nice to have you around the community!
