Within forums you can find things like free Wordpress themes, helpful coding, and advice on which affiliate program works best! Another great feature of forums is their abundance of quality information and intelligent individuals that will help you critique your website to maximize your success. When posting in a forum, you should always know how to have “good forum ettiquette.” By having “good forum ettiquette,” you will be keeping the forum atmosphere a positive, supportive environment for bloggers.

If you don’t want to market your website, it doesn’t matter if you have the highest quality content in the world; nobody will be around to read it! When marketing your blog, do you have a sense of urgency to increase your blogs popularity? I’ve noticed that unless people own a blog that is already popular, most put half-hearted efforts towards blog promotion. If you cannot seem to find the necessary state of mind to begin marketing, here’s something for you to try: “Market like you’re trying to win a contest!” What exactly do I mean by “marketing like you’re trying to win a contest?” I mean that if you were trying to win a blogging contest with the rest of the web, you would take the necessary steps to win that contest. The steps that you would take to achieve that goal are the steps you should be taking right now! Now is when you should be bringing your A-game to the table! If you are marketing, but not marketing to ensure success and surpass your current personal best, your time spent with marketing efforts is being wasted. You all must realize that simple things like StumbleUpon and Digg will only help market your blog to a certain extent. Don’t get me wrong, social networking programs can definitely help, but you also must consider things like buying advertisements on other blogs and purchasing that new customized website layout.
