successful.jpgMaking a great contribution to my “successful blogs” section of Andrew Pavelski dot com last week was a great analysis of Courtney Tuttle’s Internet Marketing School. Last week I discussed why Court’s website has drawn in such a large crowd and how he was able to reach success relatively quickly in the blogosphere. There is a lot to learn from Court’s experience and I’m truly glad he enjoyed reading my analysis! This week, I’ve decided to take a deeper look at a blog that is packed page-to-page with quality content. I think that the number one reason for this blog’s success is due to the sheer amount of value that the author Maki [a philosophy student from Toronto, Canada] shares with his readers. I discovered Dosh Dosh sometime in late 2007 and can fairly say that its content has stood out amongst other blogs and quickly captured my attention!

937093_ico_th_2.jpgExcuses: we all make them from time to time, but we may not realize that they could really have a huge impact as to whether or not we become successful! How would you rate your current ability to blog? Are you the type to continuously make excuses and actually talk yourself out of blogging? Today, I wasn’t having a bad day, just didn’t really feel like blogging. Deciding to have a little fun with “not feeling like blogging,” I made a list of 25 Excuses To Avoid Blogging. Let me know if you make any of these excuses below in the comments section and whether or not you are doing anything to curb this habit.

1) I’m too tired - Everyone gets tired at some point. There are great ways to completely avoid using this as an excuse. Why not blog first thing in the morning? This way, you have the entire rest of your day to enjoy other activities and “get tired.” When you do get tired, treat yourself to a nice, healthy snooze!

964319_hero_comic_illustration.jpgI created this list: 25 Traits of Successful Bloggers to help you understand how to shape your blogging experience towards becoming more successful online. I hope you are able find characteristics that “you’re lacking” or may need to “step it up a notch” with! Nobody is perfect, but successful bloggers really do a great job at effectively mastering the majority of the 25 traits that I’ve compiled. The cool thing about this list is that though bloggers may have an edge against you with certain traits, you can always work to improve! Check it out and let me know what traits you can work to improve on in the comments section below ;)

successful.jpgContributing to my “successful blogs” section of Andrew Pavelski dot com last week was an analysis of John Cow dot com. I discussed what has made the John Chow copycat so successful, what you can learn from his great blogging strategies and online persona. This week, I’ve decided to analyze a blog that I always enjoy visiting for quality advice. This blog has been packed with useful content since my first visit. Though I haven’t been visiting Courtney Tuttle’s Internet Marketing School religiously since it’s startup in 2007, I do enjoy following Court’s progress. Since it’s St. Patrick’s day and Courtney’s got the little “shamrocks” embedded throughout his theme, I felt it most appropriate to take a closer look inside the blog of this successful internet marketer!

What has made Courtney Tuttle’s Internet Marketing School so successful?

successful.jpgAdding to my “successful blogs” section of Andrew Pavelski dot com last week was a great analysis of John Chow dot com. A John that has been “milking the internet since 2007!” At John Cow’s blog, you will find great ways to “make mooney” online. successful.jpgHelping kick-start my successful blogs section was my review last week of what has made The Rating Blog become the fastest growing blog in the industry. This week, I’ve decided to write up a full analysis of the guy who “makes money online by telling people how much he makes online!” John Chow is clearly above the rest when it comes to “make money online” blogs. To be honest, I have been following John’s blog for several months now and enjoy watching his earnings grow. successful.jpgIn a new series on AndrewPavelski.com, I’ve decided to dig deeper into the depths of successful blogs and discover what makes them so successful. As you can see, I’ve added a new category entitled “Successful Blogs” that I will be updating on a weekly basis. This week, I’ve decided to blog about Alan Johnson, owner of The Rating Blog, who was able to go from ZERO RSS subscribers to 1,000 in less than 30 days! I’ve decided to analyze his current blogging success story and write my interpretation of what has made his success skyrocket in such a short period of time.

So how did Alan Johnson create such a popular blog in such a short period of time?
